I ordered this case for my Iomega 160 GB Ego High Speed USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive (Red). I must say, I was a little alarmed when I read one or two reviews saying that this case wouldn't protect the hard drive from a fall. Still, I bit the bullet and bought it, man am I glad I did.
The case is hard and solid, and the hard drive fits LIKE A GLOVE. It's almost like Iomega and Case Logic got together to create the perfect case for my hard drive. The cable goes in a little netting flap and the drive is held in place by a wide elastic band, I've tipped the case in every direction while open and the drive doesn't fall out. True, I haven't actually dropped it to see if it would protect the drive, but the sturdy design does give me a great sense of security and I'm sure it'd hold up to anything short of throwing it out of a 2nd story window. Hope this helps. |
Fits the LaCie Rugged like a tailored glove.

I got two of these for my 2 LaCie Rugged 500GB drives. They fit absolutely perfectly. I highly recommend the combination.
Perfect for Seagate Portable Drives

The case is made of a soft, yet rigid, material which fits the Seagate ST9160821U2-RK External 160GB Hard Drive like a glove. The elastic band helps hold the drive in place while the case is being opened and closed. There is a net inside for holding the USB cable as well. The zipper opens and closes nicely allowing the entire case to open and lie flat. So far, I've purchased three drives and cases for storing digital photographs and have been pleased with both products.
Works great for the Garmin Nuvi 750 (and others I'm sure)

I bought one of these for my Garmin Nuvi 750 ... works PERFECT! Keeps the Nuvi protected (screen facing out, away from the accessories) and holds the car charger cable and the Nuvi cradle in the other half of the case. (You do need to sort of position the Nuvi toward the top or bottom and then the charger and the "lip" of the cradle to the opposite side to "nest" it all, but it works fine.) All you need is to bring whichever mount you use (I travel with the "beanbag" dash mount). Packs easily in a briefcase or suitcase. A friend of mine has the 650, and although it and its components are bulkier than the 750, it still works (just not as "perfect" as the 750).

This case is well designed and offers excellent protection for the Maxtor One Touch Mini III external hard drive. The hard drive fits snug in the elastic strap and there is plenty of room in the netted compartment for the dual-headed USB cable and other small items. I would definitely recommend this case for anybody with the Maxtor mini hard drives.
